The dial on the case is black and surrounded by a stainless steel bezel that is also unidirectional. With the dial window being made of mineral crystal, it is highly resistant to scratches, due to the hardness created from being heat-treated.

Besides being able to resist scratching, this hard mineral crystal is less prone to getting chips in it. This type of durable dial window is also less likely to shattering, when compared to sapphire crystal. Even the back of the watch is made of mineral glass as well, which is less likely to cause irritation to the skin. This durable case is attached to a stainless steel band that is 20 mm wide, making it the perfect fit for a man's wrist.

Not only can the Invicta 8926 keep accurate time, but it also displays the date as well. The movement of this magnificent watch is automatic and self-winding, eliminating the need to remember to wind it up each day. The self-winding feature is a Japanese 21-jewel automatic movement process that allows the watch to be wound by simply wearing it. Everyday movements are what keep this watch wound and keeping accurate time.

With this type of mechanism, there's no need for a battery. Replacing a battery would be just one more thing to remember and it's not very convenient when a watch's battery dies while on vacation. Self-winding seems to be the way to go. With a water resistant depth of 660 feet, this can safely be worn during dives that don't exceed this depth. The screw-in crown is what makes this watch water-resistant at such depths.
