Raw eggs may also contain Salmonella, (which is common knowledge) This information is from a website that lists pet toxins, but yet it's a common ingredient in raw food diets for dogs, especially the "Satin Balls" diet which is for getting weight back on dogs when they've been sick, etc. I've also heard that raw eggs are good for the skin and coat, and when I've added a raw egg to my dog's meal, her coat got very shiney and soft... am I poisoning my dog by giving her a raw egg in her food mixture every once in a while? I'm now confused!
